So, after I introduced my newest favorite blog, I went back to the Blog Hop linky at the bottom of my post to check out the other intro posts. I stumbled upon Debbie Does Drivel. I have decided that she is my new newest favorite blog.
That lovely woman is from MAINE. Oh how I wish I was back living in Maine. She is “an escapee from MA“. Just like I was. Sniff Sniff. I feel connected to this woman! Connected, I say! In fact we are so connected that our posts introducing other New England Bloggers are eerily similar! If she hadn’t posted hers first, I’d have wondered if she read mine before posting hers! But no. Great minds just think alike I guess. She also used a Maine accent on her post title. I was also toying with that idea, but didn’t feel like I should being “from away” and all. But that woman has moxie, I tell you!
I’m extremely happy I hit the refresh button, because I would have missed this post. Love the last photo lol. Am I a bad newbie vegan? I think I will defer to Dooce’s t-shirt on this one: Meat is Murder. Tasty, Tasty Murder. Is that wrong?
I LOVE her Why I Love Me Series. I know you will too, once you check it out. Go. Now. Check. I’ll wait…(humming muzak in my head). K, back? Subscribed? No? Go BACK! I’ll wait…. K, moving on.
GREAT pictoral posts as well! Like this one for example. And her “Clippings from the Fridge” posts! I heart her. She is a woman with a sense of humor, so I know she’d enjoy and possibly relate to my Bat post. And after reading her glob-al warming post, I think she’d like my Obama post.
So to sum up Debbie I can use one word. Wicked Awesome. I know you will think so too.

One day, Elizabeth, from Thoughts From An Evil Overlord, had a really great idea; start a blique for New England Bloggers. What is a Blique you ask? A Blique is a blog clique. (I know, I know. Stick to my day job. Wordsmithing is not my forte. I just thought I’d try it out. But come on. I mean, I could have said bloup (blog+group), but that really would have been reaching. Anyway.)
The New England Bloggers are celebrating the beginning of summer with a blog carnival meant to introduce readers to a New England blogger they may have never read before (we even have a nifty badge). So, I’ve decided to introduce Jess from ccbella.
Why Jess, you may ask. Well, I was trying to decide on the person above me (ccbella) and the person below me (Caryn Lynn Duncan) on the list of New England Bloggers, and notice Jess didn’t list her state. I’m a sucker for a mystery. I wanted to find out more about this Jess from Nowhere. So off I went to stalk check out her blog. (Note: the links to my posts aren’t working just yet..)
Jess adds to her coolness by mentioning that her house, built in 1855, is rumored to be a stop on the Underground Railroad. I’m jealous. For Real. She is also an awesome photographer. Here are just some of her gorgeous photos.
The more I read, the more I found in common with Mysterious Jess.
- Her daughter (who looked super cute in her leotard) just had a dance recital; so did mine.
- Her daughter went to Kindergarten this year; so did mine.
- She is crafty (LOVE those crayon holders.), like me
- She takes her daughter to umpteen million activities
We share the sickness lol.
Needless to say, I’ll definitely be stalking following Mystery Jess. Hopefully, the posts I’ve shared with you will pique your interest in her musings, and you will soon assimilate and become a follower too! Muahahaha. Ok. That came from nowhere. Definitely bedtime. Night All!

My Wonderful Walls works with local children’s hospitals by donating Canvases. They want to put one canvas in every child’s room in the hospital and are looking for Blogger’s to help. For blogs putting a link using their keywords “Kids Murals & Nusery Art” they will be donating a canvas in that blogger’s name either bi-monthly or monthly depending on the blogs ratings. I think this is great & wanted to help. Can You?

Thanks to Shawn’s Sharings for introducing me to this cause!

I want one. Can I live without one? Yes. Do I want to? No. lol. A friend of mine has a Tassimo, and I LOVE IT. I only drink the Chai Lattes with it, but it still makes them pretty good and it only takes a minute. I like the Keurig better because the water tank is on the side, not in the back like the Tassimo. One thing I like better about the Tassimo though, is they have creamer cups that you use with the hot chocolate or lattes. I can’t find anything like that on the Keurig site, though they do have a metal “My K-Cup” where you can put in your own ground coffee (and loose leaf tea??) and brew that way.
If you are interested in one of these babies, but don’t have the 200 bucks just laying around (who does?!?), why not hop on over to The Secret Is In The Sauce and check out their giveaway for the Keurig Platinum Brewing System. The gals at SITS are even throwing in $50 bucks for K-cups! I entered and I hope I’m the one who wins it! With 6 kids, I’m going to need that cup of relaxing tea every evening!!

I recently revisited a website that makes Name Analysis’. Here’s what it said about my husband. VERY VERY true.
|
The name of Benjamin creates a quick, analytical, and clever mind; you are creative, versatile, original, and independent.
You have large ambitions, and it is difficult for you to be tolerant and understanding of those who desire less in life or who are more slow and methodical by nature.
Patience is not your forte.
You do, however, have leadership ability and would never be happy in a subservient position.
You are ambitious and aggressive by nature.
You would be happiest in positions where you are free to express individually and creatively and where opportunities are not restricted; you desire freedom, and do not tolerate being possessed by others.
You appreciate change and travel, and the opportunity to meet and mix with others, and to influence them with your creative ideas.
You are very self-confident and feel you can accomplish anything you set out to do, and you can, although, this name does not allow proper completion of undertakings, and forced changes cause financial losses and bitter experiences.
This name also creates caustic expression and moods which prevent harmony and happiness in close association.
When under strain, tension could affect the stomach and solar plexus.
There is a tendency for you to worry.
