Last night I saw my first glimpse of the new Star Trek movie. First let me make the disclaimer that I am NOT a fan of Star Trek. After having said that, I just want to let you know that I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE lol.
I believe the movie is about the original star trek crew (captain kurk, spock, etc) on their maiden voyage just out of the academy.
It looked pretty funny from the trailer (which is different from the one on the Star Trek movie site.) AND hey have a great looking cast (as well as a cameo from Leonard Nimoy himself!!)!
Zachary Quinto ( Sylar from TV’s “Heroes”) is playing Spock.
Jennifer Morrison (Dr. Cameron from TV’s “House”) is playing Winona Kirk.
Shaun Peg (Shaun from “Shaun of the Dead” and Nick Angel from “Hot Fuzz”) as Scotty.
Eric Bana (Bruce Banner from “Hulk”) as Nero.
John Cho (Harold from Harold and Kumar movies) as Sulu.
I don’t know about you, but I’m going to buy my tickets online using fandango because I want to go opening night and I think there is going to be a pretty big rush to get these tickets. I’ mean, look at what happened with Star Wars?!?! You were lucky to get a ticket for the next day nevermind the special showing at midnight!
I’ve also heard there is supposed to be an IMAX version! With today’s graphics capabilities, and IMAX showing of space must look AWESOME.
Anyway, I’m in. Is anyone else?!
