About Us
My name is Lisa *McBridgemooreloza (my last name may or not be a pseudonym, as I don’t want to be stalked by crazy old men). I am married to my wonderful, and sometimes frustrating, husband Ben. We live in a small town in New England with his parents and our three children, Paul, Angelina, and Phoebe. We picked up from our dream state and relocated back home so that we can adopt my sister’s three children, Jade, Bobby, and AJ.
I am a Stay at Home Mom (SAHM) who does a little bit of everything. I am a webdesigner, doula, childbirth educator, paper crafter, and Paint Shop Pro extrodinare. I’m also trying to be a good wife, mother, and daughter/in-law, which is why I’ve taken to studying the Proverbs 31 Woman of the Bible.
My husband works his seven-to-whenever-work-is-done job during the day and engages in his passion at night. He is a writer. His greatest desire is to see his work published. I expect that we will see his name in print very soon.
This blog was born back in 2002. I needed a way to write about what was going on in my life and blogging was the perfect outlet. This place is an open book that chronicles my jouney through secondary infertility and the ups and downs of trying to have my second and third child, my professional life as a doula and webdesigner, our adoption journey, the trials and joys of everyday family life, and the loss of my mother and it’s aftermath.
Where will this blog take me? Where will it be in 5 years from now? I don’t know, but I can imagine that it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Care to join me?
